The Ludhiana aggarwal Co. operative House Building Society Ltd., Aggar Nagar, Ludhiana is a registered Co. operative House Building Society under Punjab Co.operative Societies Act.1961 under registrationNo.1310 Dated.29/4/1971. Our society has developed a colony in 82 acre in the year 1972 namely ‘’AGGAR NAGAR’’ both sides on Ferozepur Road, Ludhiana. 750 houses of the members of the society are existing in the Aggar Nagar colony. Society provided the amenities to its members/residents i.e. Water Supply, Sewerage facility, Street Lights, Roads, Parks, 24x7 Security the colony. For the water supply society installed own tube wells in the Aggar Nagar colony. Lala Puran Chand Gupta Ji was the founder member of the society. Aggar Nagar colony becomes a top posh locality of the Ludhiana city. The Elections of the society is held after the expiry of every five years term under the supervision of Punjab Govt. (Cooperative Department). Society have also running a two C.B.S.E. AFFILIATED schools namely Tagore Public School, Aggar Nagar, Ludhiana and Tagore Public School Birmi Ludhiana. The total number of staff about 100 is working in both the Schools. society have also two Community Centers at Aggar Nagar with 20 A.C. rooms, a Big hall and a Mini hall, lush green lawn kitchen hall etc. Members/peoples can book the rooms and hall on very reasonable prices on no loss no profit basis.
